Scandalous words: The deaths in Gaza are lies…
Ofir Gendelman, spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, claimed the deaths in Gaza were a “hoax” in his post on social media platform X.
For this statement, Gendelman shared the video clip filmed by a Lebanese director, which depicts Israel’s bloody attacks on Palestine with artistic images and aims to raise awareness, and the behind-the-scenes images of the clip.
In the footage, medical teams treat an injured Palestinian girl on a stretcher, and behind-the-scenes footage shows the girl posing smiling with the film crew after the shooting ended.
Sharing these images without mentioning that they come from a video clip that aims to raise awareness about what is happening in Palestine among the world public, Gendelman said: “The Palestinians are misleading the international media and public opinion. “Do not fall in the trap.” he said. Gendelman claimed that the Palestinians were “faking injuries in front of the cameras.”
In the original video clip shot in Lebanon by Lebanese director Mahmud Remzi, the massacres in Gaza are artistically represented.
The clip includes a group of protesters carrying Palestinian flags and an injured girl on a stretcher, as well as violins, confetti and balloons to add an artistic touch.
Social media users also reacted to Gendelman’s post because it contained disinformation and responded to the Israeli spokesperson by sharing the original version of the video clip. (AA)
