Palestine’s call to the UN: The only solution…
According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, Abbas spoke by phone with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
Abbas called on the UN to intervene immediately to stop Israel’s continued attacks on the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip.

Emphasizing the importance of providing humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, Abbas stated that the UN should intervene to prevent a humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip and fulfill its internationally legitimized duties of providing international protection to the Palestinian people. .
“THE ONLY SOLUTION…”
Palestinian President Abbas affirmed that the only solution to tension in the region is a political solution that ends the Israeli occupation of the lands of the State of Palestine, whose capital is Jerusalem.
Secretary-General Guterres also said that the UN is making efforts to establish contacts with all relevant international parties to provide urgent humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip and stop the current tension.
