‘Diarrhea’ of panic in the air… The plane made an emergency landing
A Delta Airlines flight had to turn back on a flight from Atlanta to Barcelona, Spain, after a passenger suffered from an intestinal problem.
According to the BBC, the plane, which took off from Atlanta on September 1, returned to the starting point about 2 hours after the flight.
In the audio recording shared on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, the pilot claimed that a passenger with diarrhea was having a bathroom inside the plane.
“BIOLOGICAL RISK”
The pilot claimed that “there was a problem with the entire aircraft” and called the situation “biohazardous”.
The plane returned to Atlanta after what happened.
It was learned that the plane was cleaned after returning to Atlanta and flew to Spain the next day.
Delta Airlines used the following statements in a statement confirming what happened:
“Our work teams cleared the plane in the fastest and safest way possible. Our team did everything necessary to get our clients to their final destination. We sincerely apologize for the delay and inconvenience to our customers’ travel plans.”
