A national soccer team continued its preparations for the match to be played against Armenia in Eskişehir on Friday, September 8 in Group D of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
All training conducted by coach Stefan Kuntz at the national team camp and at the Riva Hasan Doğan training facility was open to the press.
Before training, Orkun Kökçü, voted best player of the 2022-2023 season in the Dutch First League (Eredivisie), was greeted with applause by the coaching staff and teammates.
The national soccer player Cenk Özkacar carried out a jogging exercise separate from the team after the warm-up exercises.
The training, which began with warm-up movements, continued with the reception of the ball. After the double-goal match in the wide area, the players played a double-goal match in the narrow area. The practice ended with a target practice.
The team of the rising star, which will complete the preparations for the match against Armenia in Istanbul with the training that will take place tomorrow morning, will go to Eskişehir on a plane that will take off at 15:00.
BÜYÜKEKŞİ MEETS KUNTZ
Mehmet Büyükekşi, President of the Turkish Football Federation, visited the training in the last part of the training.
Büyükekşi spoke briefly with the players and then spoke at length with coach Stefan Kuntz next to the pitch.
The rising star team training was followed by TFF board member and national A team manager Hamit Altıntop and TFF board members.
