US$50 million in UAE support for earthquake zones in Turkey
According to the official news agency of the country, WAM, the president of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ordered 100 million dollars in aid to Turkey and Syria, the friendly and brother countries affected by the earthquakes.
It was indicated that $50 million of that amount will be given to the earthquake-affected regions in Turkey, and the other $50 million will be given to the regions of Syria.

On the other hand, according to the official Kuwaiti news agency, KUNA, the crown prince of Kuwait, Meshal al-Ahmed al-Jabir es-Sabah, called President Recep Tayyip Erdogan by phone and conveyed his solidarity with Turkey.
Expressing condolences for those who lost their lives in the earthquakes, Sabah said his country immediately set up an airlift to combat the effects of the earthquake and the Cabinet decided to launch an emergency relief campaign for earthquake victims in the country. .
In other KUNA news, it has been reported that the Kuwaiti fire department has gone to Turkey to participate in search and rescue efforts in the earthquake zones.
The fire department, accompanied by a team from the Kuwait Red Crescent and the Kuwait Ministry of Health, was reported to consist of 45 people. (AA)
