Positive course in Borsa Istanbul
The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul started the day at 7,423.11 points, up 0.15 percent. At the open, the BIST 100 Index rose to 7,423.11 points, up 10.91 points and 0.15 percent from the previous close.
Following the index, it was flat at 7,422 in the pre-noon hours.
The bank index increased 0.15 percent and the holding index increased 0.60 percent. Among sector indices, leasing factoring was the biggest gainer with 1.83 percent, and transportation was the biggest loser with 1.16 percent.
YESTERDAY DOWN
The BIST 100 index, which yesterday followed a sales-weighted course, closed the day at 7,412.90 points with a decrease of 0.78 percent, and brought its highest level to 7,504.38 points.
Analysts noted that the data calendar is calm both at home and abroad, saying that technically the 7,350 and 7,250 levels in the BIST 100 Index are in support position, and the 7,500 points and 7,750 are in the resistance position. (AA)
