UN statement on aid to Gaza
The United Nations (UN) statement announced that 200 trucks were sent to Gaza from the Nitzana region of Israel, and 187 of them entered yesterday afternoon around 7:00 p.m.
In the UN statement, “200 trucks were sent from Nitzana. 187 of them entered Gaza at 7:00 p.m. local time. This aid includes food, water and emergency medical supplies. 11 ambulances, 3 buses and a flatbed truck were delivered to Sifa Hospital to assist in evacuations. In addition, 129,000 liters of fuel entered Gaza. None of these deliveries would have been possible without the Palestinian and Egyptian Red Crescent Societies. “The longer the pause lasts, the more aid humanitarian organizations will be able to send to and through Gaza.”
