Zelenskiy: Russia attacked with dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy claimed that Russia carried out an attack against Ukraine with more than 70 “Shahed” type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at night and said: “This is conscious terrorism carried out on this day special”.
In his statement on his social media account, Zelenskiy stated that today is the Holodomor Victims’ Remembrance Day and that Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 70 “Shahed” type unmanned aerial vehicles at night.
Zelenskiy claimed that Ukrainian soldiers shot down most of the UAVs, saying: “Unfortunately, not all UAVs. But we continue to work to strengthen our air defenses and attack more, uniting the world in defense against Russian terrorism. “The terrorist state must lose and be held responsible for its actions,” he said.
The head of the military administration of the city of Kiev, Sergey Popko, also claimed in his statement on the administration’s social media account that Russia launched an attack on the capital Kiev at night with unmanned aerial vehicles. Popko stressed that this attack was the largest attack since the beginning of the large-scale war.
Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klichko shared in his social media post the information that five people, including an 11-year-old boy, were injured as a result of the Russian attacks. (AA)
