The statement stated that 66 journalists, including 6 women, were killed in Israel’s attacks, 2 journalists were missing and 31 journalists were held in Israeli prisons. The union called on international human rights organizations to closely monitor Israel’s violations against journalists.

In news published by the Palestinian news agency WAFA on November 22, it was stated that 2 more journalists were killed in the Israeli bombing and that the number of journalists who lost their lives in Israel’s continuous attacks since October 7 reached 64.

According to the Gaza government, 14,854 people, including more than 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women, have been killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7.

The agreement between Israel and Hamas, which will provide a humanitarian pause to the conflict, came into effect at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24.
