The British press reveals: King Charles is seizing the assets of thousands of dead

It was revealed that King Charles III of England increased his wealth by confiscating the assets of thousands of people who died in the northwest of the country under a system that dates back hundreds of years.

According to The Guardian, the assets of thousands of people who died in the northwest of England can be used by the institution that manages the King’s assets. Under the system inherited from feudal times, the land and housing institution called the Duchy of Lancaster, affiliated with the Crown, can seize the financial assets of deceased people, known as “bona vacantia.”

60 MILLION POUNDS IN 10 YEARS

In this context, the news indicates that the Crown has invested millions of pounds in its coffers in recent years, and that the institution claimed to have donated the 60 million pounds earned in the last 10 years, without taxes, to associations, but according to the documents, this is not true. The Guardian wrote that, according to official documents, most of this money was secretly spent on the development and rental of the King’s properties.

Noting that the king derived benefits from the properties of the deceased thanks to this feudal system, the newspaper reported that three sources confirm this. According to the news, King Charles received £26 million from the Duchy of Lancaster, which he inherited after the death of his mother, Elizabeth II.

Relatives of the deceased said they were shocked to learn of this practice.

Buckingham Palace declined a request for comment on the news.
