The United States supports Israel’s demand for a “hospital”
Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator for the White House National Security Council, made a statement regarding allegations that Hamas used some hospitals in Gaza.
Kirby explained that they received information from different sources that Hamas was using some hospitals and “under tunnels” in the Gaza Strip to hide and carry out its military operations.

Kirby said that according to the intelligence in question, some hospitals in Gaza, including Shifa Hospital, were used by Hamas to “hide, carry out their military operations and hold hostages.”
“HOSPITALS MUST BE PROTECTED”
Kirby said they do not support airstrikes on hospitals, saying: “Hospitals and patients must be protected. “We don’t want to see a conflict in the hospital where innocent, helpless, sick people are simply trying to get the treatment they deserve,” she said. (AA)
