55 attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria
US Department of Defense (Pentagon) Deputy Spokesperson Sabrina Singh provided an update on the attacks on US bases at the daily press briefing.
Stating that there have been 55 attacks on US bases, 27 in Iraq and 28 in Syria, since the attacks began on October 17, Singh claimed that 59 personnel were slightly injured in these attacks and all have returned to duty.
Singh blamed Iran-linked groups for the attacks on US bases and said the US had the right to respond to these attacks.
Expressing that they are trying to ensure that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict does not spread to the region and is limited to Gaza, Singh argued that they have been successful so far in this “deterrence” policy with the strong US presence in the region. . . (AA)
