Landlord Jason Roth, who not only was unable to collect rent regularly after renting out his home, but also learned that his home was being rented to other people “on a daily basis,” went to court. Roth, who said his tenant owed him approximately $50,000 and that he did not vacate the house, did not get the result from the court he expected.
While the hearing was postponed until March 2024, the owner said he had to live in a caravan for months. Roth said: “I need a home. Media attention is great, but it doesn’t help me at all. I have to get my life back. “I’m living in a caravan at the moment,” he said.
