He opposed the Palestinian demonstrations… British minister dismissed
The Minister of the Interior, Suella Braverman, who caused controversy in the United Kingdom for her attitude towards demonstrations in support of Palestine, was removed from office.
Braverman’s accusation of police “double standards” in tolerating pro-Palestinian demonstrations sparked a crisis in the ruling Conservative Party.
In his article published in the Times newspaper, Braverman described the pro-Palestinian demonstrations as “hate marches” and called for the prevention of the pro-Palestinian march held on Saturday in the capital, London, which became one of the largest demonstrations of the history of the country.
After these words that provoked reactions, the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, fired Braverman. Sunak is expected to make cabinet changes today.
