US air operation to Syria
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that it carried out airstrikes against groups close to Iran in Syria.
In his statement to CENTCOM,
“The United States will continue to defend itself, its personnel, and its interests,” the statement said.
In a written statement, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) confirmed that airstrikes were carried out against ongoing attacks against US personnel in Iraq and Syria, against facilities used by the IRGC and groups close to it in the eastern Syria.
The statement indicates that one of the objectives reached was a training center and the other a shelter. (AA)
