UN RESOLUTIONS ARE REMEMBERED

Furthermore, the statement recalled that the United Nations and all other international organizations have taken “decisions regarding the Palestinian cause, the crimes committed by the occupier Israel and the freedom and independence of the Palestinian people in all their lands, which have been occupied since 1967 and constitutes a single geographical unit.”

EMPHASIS ON THE TWO-STATE SOLUTION

The statement emphasized that the decision taken by the UN General Assembly at the 10th emergency special session on October 27, 2023 was welcomed and continued as follows:

“Reaffirming the centrality of the Palestinian cause, with all our energy and capacity, to liberate all occupied lands and realize all their inalienable rights, especially the right to self-determination and to live in independent and sovereign States established on the borders of June 4 December 1967, with Jerusalem as its capital. We support the brother Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle, and that the establishment of a just, lasting and comprehensive peace, which includes a strategic option, is the only method that guarantees the security and stability of the peoples of the region and protects them. of the cycle of violence and war, and that this is the only way not to end the Israeli occupation, and we confirm that it is impossible to achieve this without resolving the Palestinian cause on the basis of a two-state solution.

“THE REGION CANNOT ACHIEVE PEACE”

The statement emphasized the impossibility of achieving regional peace by ignoring the Palestinian cause or ignoring the rights of the Palestinian people, without taking as its main source the Arab Peace Initiative supported by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and made the following statements:

“We hold Israel responsible for the continuation and intensification of the conflict, for directing violence against the rights of the Palestinian people and the sanctities of Islam and Christianity, for the systematic policies and activities, for the unilateral and illegal measures that led to the occupation, and the obstruction of a just and comprehensive peace. We confirm that Israel and no other country in the region can achieve security and peace unless the Palestinian people achieve security and peace and regain all their usurped rights, and that the continuation of the Israeli occupation represents a security threat and regional stability, and global security and peace. “

CONDEMN HATE AND DISCRIMINATION

The statement condemned all forms of hatred and discrimination and all proposals that perpetuate the culture of hate and extremism, noting the following:

“The disastrous repercussions of Israel’s retaliatory attack on the Gaza Strip, which amounts to a ‘massive war crime’, and the barbaric crimes it has committed in the West Bank and Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and the real danger it poses the expansion of the war due to Israel’s refusal to stop its aggression” and we warn against the failure of the United Nations Security Council to end Israel’s aggression by invoking international law.”
