Nasrallah: We are using Burkan and Katyusha missiles against Israel

Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah participated by videoconference in the “Martyrs’ Day” program in Beirut, organized for Hezbollah members who died in clashes with the Israeli army since October 8.

“THE LEBANON FRONT WILL CONTINUE AS A PRESSURE FRONT”

Stating that there have been new developments in the conflicts on the border between Israel and Lebanon in the south, especially in the last week, Nasrallah stated that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and missiles called “Burkan” containing half a ton of Explosives were used for the first time in conflicts.

He stated that, in addition to unmanned aerial vehicles and Burkan missiles, “Katyusha” missiles began to be used for the first time in attacks against Israel.

“The Southern Front (Lebanon) will continue to be a pressure front,” Nasrallah said.

“IF THE UNITED STATES WANTS THE ATTACKS TO END…”

Stating that the reason for the attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria is Israel’s attacks on Gaza, Nasrallah said: “If the US wants the attacks on itself in Iraq and Syria to end, they should stop the attacks on Gaza. . “Only then will the attacks (on US bases) end,” he said.

Nasrallah noted that despite American threats, attacks from Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon did not stop.

“IRAN’S SUPPORT IS NO LONGER A SECRET”

Nasrallah also said the following about Tehran’s support for Hezbollah:

“Iran provides military, financial and diplomatic support. This is no longer a secret. “If the resistance is strong in Lebanon, Palestine and other regions, it is thanks to the financial, military and other support provided by Iran.”

CONCERN OF THE ‘NEW FRONT’

So far, 70 Hezbollah members and 4 Israeli soldiers have lost their lives in clashes on the border between southern Lebanon and northern Israel since October 8.

Additionally, a total of 14 civilians, including 1 journalist and 3 children, were killed in Lebanon and 2 civilians in Israel due to the attacks.

As fighting between Israel and Hamas passes a month, there are concerns that the war in the region will spread to a new front. (AA)
