Hezbollah warns Israel: there will be serious consequences
Naim Kasim, deputy secretary general of Hezbollah in Lebanon, made statements to the American press about Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip and Hezbollah’s position.
“OUR PURPOSE…”
Describing Israel as the aggressor, Kasim emphasized that Hezbollah aims to reduce pressure on Gaza.
Kasim said there would be “serious consequences” if Israel expands its attacks on Gaza.
ATTACKS ON US BASES
Referring to the attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria by the so-called “Iraqi Islamic Resistance” formation, which is known to be among the pro-Iran Shiite militia groups in Iraq, Kasım said: “Those in the Axis of Resistance saw that the main planner was the United States. Therefore, they are attacking the United States on the principle of sending a message to stop. “Just like Israel should stop,” he said.
“What we are doing now is what we need to do and we will do it when we need to do more.” Kasım continued as follows:
“How can the United States and the rest of the world have the right to support Israel, which kills civilians and children and destroys homes, when we have no right to support our people and our loved ones in Palestine and the region?”
“THIS WILL LEAD TO A TOTAL CONFLICT”
Kasım stated that if Israel and the United States continue their aggression in this way and leave a greater negative impact, the incident will escalate and lead to an all-out conflict.
