Another shock for Biden: he melts day by day
The New York Times/Siena College poll states that about a year before the 2024 US presidential election, Trump was ahead in states Biden won in the last election: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia , Nevada and Arizona.
According to the survey from October 22 to November 3, Trump, who clearly leads the race among Republican candidates, obtained a difference of 3 to 9 points in these states.
TRUMP ESTABLISHED SUPERIORITY
According to the poll results, Trump led Biden by 48 to 44 percent in Pennsylvania, 48 to 43 percent in Michigan and 49 to 44 percent in Arizona.
In the 2020 presidential race, Trump led Biden by 6 points (49 to 43 percent), according to poll results in the state of Georgia, where he was accused of manipulating the election results.
The state where Donald Trump had the largest lead over President Biden was Nevada, where he received 9 points more votes (52 to 41 percent).
Among the states in question, Biden was only able to gain a 2-point lead over Trump (47 to 45 percent) in Wisconsin.
THEY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR AGE
While most U.S. citizens who participated in the survey said they found Trump, 77, mentally competent, they said they were “concerned” about Biden’s advanced age.
Nearly 71 percent of voters said they “somewhat agree” that Biden is “too old to be an effective president.”
Only 39 percent of voters said the same about Trump.
Additionally, 52 percent of participants answered “yes” to the question of whether Trump had the “mental acuity to be an effective president,” while this rate remained at 35 percent for Biden on the same issue. (AA)
