110 foreign passport holders left Gaza

It was announced that 110 passengers with foreign passports left the Gaza Strip, which is under intense attack and blockade by Israel, through the Rafah border gate and Jordan began evacuating its citizens from Gaza.

Wail Abu Muhsin, media director of the Rafah border gate between Egypt and the Gaza Strip, said in a statement to the AA correspondent that 110 passengers with foreign passports left the Gaza Strip and crossed into Egypt. Muhsin stated that 17 ambulances transporting those injured in Gaza during the Israeli attacks entered Egypt and 20 aid trucks passed into Gaza.

Thus, the number of aid trucks that entered Gaza in the last week increased to 237.

In the written statement of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs it was reported that the evacuation of Jordanians in the Gaza Strip began through the Rafah border gate.

The statement stated that the evacuation of Jordanians from Gaza would take a few days and added: “A team from the Jordanian embassy in Cairo was sent to the Rafah border gate to ensure that Jordanian citizens who will leave Gaza by buses reach Jordan as soon as possible.” The expression was used.

While the statement did not provide information on the number of Jordanians in Gaza, it was noted that Jordanians in the region could contact the Foreign Ministry’s Operations Center Unit for help. (AA)
