Israeli Army: we will deepen operations in the Gaza Strip

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said they will continue to deepen their operations in the blockaded Gaza Strip.

Hagari stated at the press conference that the Israeli army was engaged in major clashes in the Gaza Strip throughout the night.

Stating that they will continue to “deepen their operations” in the northern Gaza Strip, Hagari noted that Israeli soldiers came face to face with Hamas members in Gaza.

Referring to clashes with Hezbollah on the Lebanese border, Hagari stated that they were making “the necessary preparations to respond forcefully” to the attacks on the northern border.

Underscoring that reinforcements have been sent to the defense line on the northern border, Hagari said: “We will attack and kill every cell that reaches our region, infiltrates our territory or opens fire on our territory.”

Stating that the Israeli army is prepared for all scenarios in the northern region, Hagari stated that his army is also prepared in the Red Sea region.

Stating that they eliminated an identified threat in the Red Sea region overnight, Hagari stated that they sent warships with strike capabilities to provide sea protection as reinforcements to the region.

Hagari noted that there are 240 Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip and rescuing them is a national priority.

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIED

While Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack on the morning of October 7, claiming to “respond to Israel’s continued violations against the Palestinians and their sacred values, especially the Masjid al-Aqsa”, the Israeli army also launched intense airstrikes against the Gaza Strip.
