Refah border gate reopened
The Rafah border gate on the border with Egypt, the only exit point in Gaza that is not under Israeli control, was reopened today.
It was claimed that the border was opened on a limited basis thanks to the agreement reached between Israel, Hamas and Egypt under the mediation of Qatar.
The sources reported that the seriously injured and foreigners in Gaza will be evacuated in a process coordinated by the United States. No information was provided on how long the border will remain open.
FUEL CANNOT ENTER
On the other hand, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that 59 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid materials entering the Gaza Strip were received.
In the Palestinian Red Crescent statement, “Red Crescent teams today received 59 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid from the Rafah border gate. 4 of these trucks were delivered to the International Committee of the Red Cross and 55 were delivered from the Egyptian Red Crescent to the Palestinian Red Crescent. The trucks contain food, medicine, aid and medical supplies. “Although the total number of trucks received so far is 217, no fuel has been allowed in so far.”
