The number of people killed in the Gaza Strip, which Israel has been under intense attacks for 25 days, increased by 219 to 8,525.

Ashraf al-Qudra, spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, provided information on the victims and injuries in the region at the press conference he held at Shifa Hospital.

Kudra said Israel carried out 18 massacres and 219 more people were killed in attacks in the past 24 hours.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shared images of the ground operation in northern Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army reported that its ground troops were involved in “violent clashes” with Palestinian groups inside the blockaded Gaza Strip.

The army’s written statement said its soldiers had been involved in violent clashes inside Gaza in recent hours.

In the statement, it was stated that Israeli ground and air units, positions and anti-tank missile units belonging to Hamas’ military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, were hit.

The Interior Ministry in Gaza also announced that Israeli forces have increased their advance towards the northern and central parts of the blockaded Gaza Strip.

MOST OF THE DEATHS ARE CHILDREN

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza published a 212-page report containing the names, identity information and ages of those killed in the Israeli attacks on Gaza between October 7 and 26.

According to the report, 2,913 of the 7,028 people who died in the Israeli attacks between October 7 and 26 were children.

In the Israeli attacks, 444 babies lost their lives, including 133 babies under one year old, 153 babies under 1 year old, and 158 babies under 2 years old.

In the Israeli bombings, 171 3-year-old children, 1,527 children of primary school age (4 to 13 years) and 523 children of secondary school age (14 to 17 years) lost their lives.

Although 2,262 of the victims of the attacks were women, 462 people over the age of 60 died.

MORE THAN 200 THOUSAND BUILDINGS WERE DAMAGED

Stating that the occupation forces destroyed 85 government buildings in Gaza, he said:

“Israel destroyed 47 mosques and caused extensive damage to 3 churches in Gaza. While more than 200,000 buildings were damaged as a result of the attacks, 32,500 of them were completely destroyed and left uninhabitable, 203 schools suffered significant damage, and 45 schools were completely out of service. Due to the intense attacks, the statistics are not yet complete.

18,000 tons of bombs were dropped on Gaza, one and a half times more than those dropped on Hiroshima. The Israeli army massacred 908 families, causing the deaths of thousands of people. “35 journalists, 124 health workers and 18 civil defense personnel from emergency rescue teams lost their lives in the attacks.”
