Former commander warned: Israel will suffer many casualties

The retired commander stressed that “the majority” of Israeli forces will have to participate in the intervention in Gaza and maintained that there will be a “hot conflict that will last for months.”

Brik predicted that the Israeli army would not be able to “completely destroy” the Palestinian resistance groups even in this long period of time and said: “This situation will be seen as a great victory for Hamas.” he said.

Brik also warned that the intervention in Gaza “could turn into a regional war” and stated that “the air strike must continue” and “the siege must continue for a few months.”
