The United States talks about the photo of President Joe Biden with American soldiers in Israel.
Joe Biden, who visited Israel the day before, also met with US Special Forces soldiers stationed in the country. All hell broke loose when the White House shared a photo of soldiers with Biden during the visit.
Republicans accused the US administration of incompetence and said the identity of US special forces in Israel should remain secret. The photo showing the face of the American special soldiers remained on the White House Instagram page for hours and received thousands of likes and comments.
They DELETED and apologize
After the reactions, the White House deleted the photo and apologized. It was claimed that the photograph violated the regulations of the United States Department of Defense and that normally in these types of photographs the soldiers’ faces are hidden.
The White House statement said: “When we became aware of this situation, we immediately deleted the photo.”
A small group of American soldiers in Israel advise the Israeli military and exchange information on the rescue of hostages held by Hamas.
