Looking directly into the camera and speaking in Hebrew, the young woman said: “I want you to get me out of here as soon as possible. “Please,” she said.

The young woman also said that her captors took good care of her.
It was learned that Shem had a three-hour surgery in Gaza.
Shem said: “I am Maya Shem of Shoham. I’m in Gaza right now. I was at a party and suffered a very serious injury to my hand. They performed a surgery that lasted 3 hours in Gaza. Shem called the authorities and said, “Get me out of here as soon as possible.”
