Tension is high on the Gaza border, Israel has deployed tanks

Israel prepares for ground operation on Gaza border

Concerns are growing that the Israeli army, which continues its attacks on the blockaded Gaza Strip for eight days, will launch a ground operation.

Despite international reactions, Israel gave those living in the north of the Gaza Strip time between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to leave their homes and head to the south of the region. While more than 2 million people are trapped in Gaza, there are fears that Israel’s ground operation could turn into a major disaster.

(Anadolu Agency) The Israeli army, which entered Gaza by land yesterday and attacked some Hamas-affiliated sites with precise fire, continues to intensively send tanks and armored vehicles to the city of Sderot, near the border. Meanwhile, Israel announced that crossings from Gaza’s Rafah Gate on the border with Egypt will continue in coordination with Israel.
