Hakan Fidan met with Sisi in Egypt
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was received in the capital Cairo by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
In its post on the social media platform X, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Minister Fidan and Egyptian President Sisi met in Cairo. The post said: “Our Minister Hakan Fidan met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo.”
A photo of the meeting was also included in the publication.
Foreign Minister Fidan will pay a two-day official visit to Egypt on October 13 and 14, at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart Samih Shukri. Minister Fidan is expected to later meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Shukri and hold a joint press conference with his counterpart.
Fidan also met with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock in Cairo. (AA)
