Landing in Israel from Europe and the United States.

European and American officials have made back-to-back visits to Israel to show solidarity during the conflict between Israel and Palestinian groups in Gaza, which has continued since October 7.

Israeli state television KAN published a report on the subject. The news said that many leaders and officials from around the world, especially US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, will come to Israel today.

The President of the European Union (EU) Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Parliament (EP), Roberta Metsola, the German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, the Canadian Foreign Minister, Melanie Joly, and Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani also visited Israel in solidarity. It was recorded that this would be the case.

The news also indicated that French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna plans to visit Israel on October 15.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who visited Israel yesterday, met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv. At the joint news conference, Blinken said, “I am here today not only as Secretary of State of the United States, but also as a Jew” and said thousands of reserve soldiers were mobilized to help Israel.
