The company whose boss acts in the television series Payitaht Abdülhamit was fined for violating competition
The investigation carried out by the Competition Board against Namet Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, which operates as a manufacturer and supplier in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, was completed with a “settlement” decision.
As announced on the Competition Authority’s website, the investigation to determine whether the company violated the Competition Protection Law when determining the resale price of its buyers has been concluded.
Although the board decided that the company had violated the law in determining its buyers’ resale prices, the compromise language offered by the company was accepted.
FINE OF 72 MILLION
In this context, a 25 percent discount was applied to the administrative fine that will be imposed on the company for conciliation, while the amount of the penalty was set at 72 million 986 thousand 653 liras.
