Children of Gaza…
Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack against Israel on the morning of October 7, called the “Aqsa Flood.”
As thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, Palestinian armed groups attacked and seized the Beit Hanun-Erez border gate on the Gaza-Israel border.
Armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel from here and the Israeli army launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.
It was reported that 1,200 Israelis lost their lives in the attacks carried out from Gaza.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 1,055 people were killed and 5,184 injured in Gaza in Israel’s attacks.
While hundreds of children lost their lives in the attacks, photographs taken by news agencies revealed how children became targets of violence:

Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the Shamlah family home in southern Gaza City. Children burst into tears at the funeral of the 8 members of the Shamlah family who lost their lives in the attack.

Israel’s airstrikes against the blockaded Gaza Strip continue. As a result of the airstrike on the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, many buildings in the region were destroyed. The Al-Gharbi mosque in western Gaza was destroyed in airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes. With this destruction, the number of mosques destroyed in Israel’s airstrikes in the blockaded Gaza Strip increased to 6. A girl was rescued from the collapsed buildings around the mosque. (AA)
