Strange incident: the team kissed the suspect before he got into his car
A Maryland police officer has been suspended from duty after he was seen hugging and kissing a woman he was carrying in the back of his patrol car.
The Prince George’s County Police Department confirmed Tuesday that one of its officers was involved in the incident and said the investigation process is ongoing.
According to the Fox 5 DC report, the police department identified the officer as Francesco Marlett, who was suspended in 2016 for allegedly hitting a 3-year-old boy.
“Police powers have been suspended while investigation continues,” the ministry said on Twitter late Tuesday, after earlier announcing an investigation into the video.
THE RESEARCH CONTINUES
In images posted to Instagram and TikTok, a headless police officer aggressively grabbed her from behind as she kissed a woman wearing a short dress.
The uniformed policeman put his arm around the woman, led her to the back of the patrol car, and helped her inside.
According to ABC 7News, the video appeared to have been filmed in Carson Park, right next to Oxon Hill High.
In 2016, Marlett was suspended after being charged with second-degree child abuse for allegedly hitting his girlfriend’s son.
He was babysitting the boy while his girlfriend was cooking dinner, and allegedly when the boy wet the bed, Marlett beat him until his head hit the wall and he lost consciousness.
While it was not clear what the relationship between Marlett and the woman was, it was announced that the investigation into the matter is continuing.
