83-year-old woman claims she was used by her 37-year-old husband to get money and a visa
England talks about the relationship between Iris Jones, an 83-year-old retiree, and Mohammed Ibrahim, 37, who met on social media in 2020 and married shortly after.
Jones and İbrahim, who said there was great chemistry between them before they got married, had recently decided to divorce. Jones, in his statements, said their relationship didn’t work out and they were constantly fighting, commenting that “after this age, I can’t stand so much controversy.”
The 83-year-old woman, who could not keep up with her, continued to give statements to the British media today. Divorced 3 months ago, Jones said: “Instead of my husband, my cat, Mr. I spend time with Tibbs.” Jones said they started dating after sending messages on Facebook, saying: “I couldn’t believe it when he proposed to me. What was I going to do with a 79 year old woman like me?
“I went to Cairo in November 2019 and met him. I paid off his credit card debt. “Don’t give him money,” an official at the British embassy in Cairo warned me. But I didn’t listen to him and I gave him 15,000 pounds. Our marriage was postponed due to the Corona virus.”
When Jones and Muhammed İbrahim got married, he frequently appeared in the British media, explaining that their sex life was very good and the chemistry between them was excellent.
“HE PROVIDED ME TO CHANGE MY WILL”
Expressing that he gave his debit card to Muhammed and that they always ate out and had fun, Jones said: “We were always spending my money. He always wanted money from me.” Jones stated that Mohammed always asked him for money and that the movements in his bank account were too many: “When I didn’t give money, the fights increased. “He offered to tell me the names of the women he dated if I changed my will and left him my money.”
Jones, who said he realized at the time that Muhammad married him for money and a UK residence permit, said he filed for divorce soon after. “It was the hardest decision I’ve ever made and my love for Mohammed was very real, but I followed my mind instead of my heart,” Jones said.
