Violent clashes between the PKK and Arab tribes continue

Clashes between Arab tribes and the organization under pressure from the PKK/YPG terrorist organization in Syria’s eastern province of Deir ez-Zor continue on August 27 in the rural areas of Hasaka, Raqqa and Manbij.

The operations launched by the Arab tribes against the PKK/YPG in Deir ez-Zor under the pressure of the terrorist organization were expanded with the participation of other Arab tribes. In the fight that grows with the support of the Arab tribes displaced by the PKK/YPG, the terrorist organization withdraws from the villages it occupied, with losses.

Since August 27, a total of 33 villages have been liberated from YPG/PKK occupation in rural areas of Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Hasakah provinces and in Aleppo’s Manbij district. Retired PKK/YPG terrorists are trying to inflict casualties on Arab tribes with sudden raids at night.

All the inhabitants of Deir ez-Zor, which the organization occupied under the name of “fighting ISIS” with the support of the US military, are Arabs. The terrorist organization forcibly recruits Arab children in the regions it occupies.

The organization generates revenue by selling the oil it obtained by seizing the region’s oil wells from the Damascus administration through smugglers, despite US sanctions. By using the income they earn for their own activities, the region’s inhabitants are deprived of local services and support. (AA)
