Local tribes revolted against the PKK in Syria

Terrorists affiliated with the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (ODS) with US soldiers from August 15 to 17 in the Qamishli, Al Omer, Koniko and El Hol regions, where the Deir ez-Zor oil fields are located, in Haseki, Syria . Province occupied by the terrorist organization PKK-YPG carried out joint exercises with heavy weapons.

While this exercise provoked a reaction from Turkey, another reaction came from the local population of the same region. Local tribes in the Deir ez-Zor region revolted against the PKK-YPG. In this region, violent clashes took place between the local population and the SDF terrorists, who were opposed to sending young people working for the SDF to different regions outside Deir ez-Zor under the name of fighting against ISIS.

LOCAL TRIBES TAKING ACTION

In the conflict that broke out with the armed groups that attacked the so-called headquarters of the terrorist organization, 19 people died, 12 of them from the local tribes of the region and 6 of them from the SDF. The event that sparked the clashes was the recent arrest of Ahmaad Abu Hewla, commander of the SDF Military Council in Deir ez-Zor.

Abu Hewla, who opposed the transfer of 2,500 armed forces from Deir ez-Zor to different regions after the joint exercise with the US, against Ferhad Abdi Åžahin, one of the leaders of the terrorist organization, who said they were only responsible to protect the unfurled flag. Thereupon, Abu Hewla was pacified and arrested after all powers were removed from him.

THEY ATTACKED ALL SDF POINTS

Local tribes, who learned of this, said they were against the PKK’s efforts to send the Deir ez-Zor youth, whom they recruited under the name of conscription and mobilization, who supported Ebu Hewla in this sense and demanded that he be released immediately.

When Abu Hewla was not released despite the two-day period, the armed groups gathered and attacked the main SDF base center and internal security points in Al Basira, east of Deir ez-Zor. According to the first reports, 19 people lost their lives in the clashes that have been going on for two days. As events escalated, a curfew was declared in the Al Hol region, where Shaddadi and ISIS terrorists and their families were being held hostage.

Local tribes were also reported to have taken many SDF terrorists alive and confiscated their weapons. The tribal members announced that they would directly attack the SDF until Abu Hewla was released.

THEY ARE ALL ARAB

The SDF, under the direction of the United States, announced that they had moved their armed forces to different regions after receiving information that they were preparing to attack in many regions after identifying the new leader of the ISIS terrorist organization.

While the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, led by Abu Hewla, who was arrested by the SDF, operates within the SDF, all of its fighting cadres are Arabs. The SDF, which requested 2,500 fighters from Abu Hewla, reportedly arrested Hewla because she was refused.
