Trump has a clear advantage in the region where he is accused of meddling in the elections
The latest poll conducted in the United States showed that Trump was not affected by the lawsuit filed against him in Georgia.
In the poll, Trump was clearly ahead of the Republican candidates with 57 percent, while his closest rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, came in second with 15 percent.
Other Republican candidates, Mike Pence, got 4 percent, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy 3 percent, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie 2. percent.
In the poll of 807 Republican voters between August 16 and 22, the undecided rate was 14 percent.
TRUMP SURRENDERS IN GEORGIA
Trump was indicted by the Atlanta grand jury on August 15 with interfering with the results of the 2020 election in the state of Georgia, and turned himself in on August 24 as part of the indictment.
It was the first time a criminal record photo had been taken for the arrest record of Trump, who posted $200,000 bail in this case, when he turned himself in.
Trump has raised more than $7.1 million for his candidacy since he surrendered on Aug. 24.
The practice of taking Trump’s criminal records in the country’s history is the first by a US president. (AA)
