The nightmare will get bigger
Stating that the next 48 hours are critical for the fire in western Thrace, authorities said that if the fire cannot be extinguished, it could reach a dense oak forest area.
Authorities warned that the fire could get completely out of control with Lodos, which will burn two days later.
Dozens of settlements were evacuated due to the fires that lasted for eight days in the country.
OTHER REGIONS ARE ALSO BURNING
The fire that broke out today on the island of Andros has not yet been controlled. Fires continued throughout the day on the island of Egriboz, Messinia, Pyrgos and Fthiotida.
