The United States prepares for Hurricane Hilary: the decision of the state of emergency has been made
In the United States, it declared a state of emergency in much of southern California.
“Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency for much of Southern California to support response and recovery efforts from Hurricane Hilary,” the governor’s office said in a statement. Hurricane Hilary is currently a Category 2 hurricane for which the National Hurricane Center has issued a “catastrophic and life-threatening flooding” warning for the southwestern US, including Baja California (Baja California) and southern California. “The effects of the hurricane, including heavy rain and high winds, are expected to begin today and last through Monday.”
In photos shared by the California Governor’s Office, it was seen that the US National Guard also stood ready to mitigate the effects of the hurricane. The governor’s office reported that 350 soldiers were waiting for the mission.
