Horrifying Incident: Cartel Member Dissolves Over 300 Bodies In Acid
Information that Santiago Meza López, who works for a Mexico-based drug cartel, has melted hundreds of his victims in barrels of acid has sent chills to those who hear it.
The organized crime syndicate is considered the world’s largest and most powerful drug trafficking organization and has controlled much of Mexico since the 1980s.
Santiago Meza López, nicknamed “The Stew Maker,” was first captured in 2009 and confessed to his role in helping the cartel destroy human bodies.
After his arrest, he revealed that he first worked on a farm where they experimented with acid in 1996. The gang members combined water and acid in a barrel, then placed a beef leg on it and left it for two hours. After the meat was successfully thawed, the cartel began testing it on human bodies.

Since his arrest, relatives of the victims have banded together to encourage him to identify the remains at the La Gallera site.
Between 170 and 200 kilos of human remains have reportedly been found here since the find. It is feared that the remains of some 650 victims may be in the Tijuana area.
In a 2019 interview with YouTuber Shaun Attwood, a former officer described how the cartel got away with leaving few traces of its victims.
At the interview, “Authorities search for people while driving through the backyard and find a dental filling that does not dissolve in acid. Crazy and scary to say the least. “
“In other places they would kill people and carry bodies. This guy put them in 200 liter drums that looked like the oil drums you see in the ads.
“Then, from time to time, I stirred the corpses to dissolve them. This man has a house full of barrels.” His expressions were creepy.
