Provocation to burn the Holy Quran in Denmark

Members of the anti-Islamic and ultranationalist fringe group “Danske Patrioter (Danish Patriots)” in Denmark burned the Koran in front of the Iraqi embassy in Copenhagen.

The members of the group, who unfurled an anti-Islamic banner and chanted slogans insulting Islam, threw the Iraqi flag and the Koran to the ground and stepped on it.

Subsequently, the provocative group, which burned the Quran, shared these moments live on their social media accounts.

The group that burned the Koran reported that they organized this provocation to protest the attack on the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad.

The demonstration, which took place under heavy security by the police, was also followed by members of the press.

The fringe group called Danske Patrioter had previously insulted Islam by attacking the Turkish flag and Quran in front of the Turkish Embassy in Copenhagen. (AA)
