Renner’s family said the man had a difficult life with past suicide attempts, but had been happy for months and led a clean life, showing no signs of suicide.
His brother, Joshua Renner, said in a statement that David’s childhood was “complicated at times, living in two separate houses, like any other divorced child.”
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled his death a suicide Monday and confirmed Renner’s identity.
Renner worked for a company with which Delta had a ground support agreement. The autopsy determined that Renner died of blunt-force and acute injuries, The Guardian reported.
