Russia: drones intercepted near Moscow

Two drones were intercepted on their way to military depots in the Moscow region, Governor Andrei Vorobyov said. Reuters reports. “Debris was found, no damage or casualties,” Vorobyov said, adding that the drones descended near the village of Kalininets.

Russian channels on the Telegram messaging app, including one with ties to the security services, reported that at least one other drone was intercepted near the village of Lukino.

Ukrainian forces “destroy the enemy,” says Zelensky

The Ukrainian armed forces are “very active in destroying the enemy and physically purging Ukraine,” President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his latest evening speech. ‘Protection against terrorism means the destruction of terrorists. Reconstruction conference in London

Leaders and representatives from more than 60 countries are expected in London starting today for a two-day conference to secure funding to help Ukraine overcome the ravages of war.

Kiev: 32 drones shot down

Ukraine says it has shot down 32 of 35 Shahad drones fired at night in an attack on Kiev. Suspilne reports that non-residential buildings and several private homes were damaged by debris in Kiev, and farmland and equipment were damaged in Zaporizhia after Russia fired seven S-300 missiles into the Ukrainian-controlled part of the region.
