Comment by Sinan Ogan from US media
Bloomberg made a remarkable comment about Sinan Ogan, just days before the second round of the presidential election. In the news headlined “Presidential Election Loser May Be Key Player in Runoff,” the story headlined “Ogan will announce today whether to support Erdogan in runoff. President narrowly missed desired rate in first round of the elections.

Bloomberg said it’s curious which candidate Ogan will announce his support for today.
For Ogan, who obtained 5.2 percent of the vote in the first round, “Ogan’s support for Erdogan increases the probability of being re-elected. If Ogan supports the opposition candidate, even this may not be enough to change the balance.
“Ogan was a little-known figure in a small anti-immigrant party and his vote in the runoff could go in a different direction. Ogan, 55, met Erdogan in Istanbul on Friday. Ümit Özdağ, the leader of his ally Zafer Party, also met with Kılıçdaroğlu in Ankara on the same day.
It was claimed that both candidates wanted Ogan’s votes and thus gave weight to nationalist statements. Although Bloomberg wanted to meet with both Ogan and Ozdag, neither name made a statement.
