Voting begins in Finland
Turkey’s ambassador in Helsinki, Deniz Çakar, made assessments of the election preparations in Finland.
Expressing that they have completed all the preparations for the elections, Çakar said that for the 28th term presidential and parliamentary elections to be held in Turkey on May 14, ballot boxes will be set up in many countries in the Nordic and Baltic regions.
Noting that the voting process in Finland for the first round of the elections will end on the night of May 7, Çakar said: “We are waiting for our citizens in Finland to cast their ballots from May 1 to May 7.”
According to data from the Supreme Electoral Board (YSK), there are 6,791 voters in Finland.
According to the YSK statement, ballot boxes will be installed in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Lithuania and Estonia in the Nordic and Baltic regions, as well as in Finland. (AA)
