Alert in the US military: All planes have landed
The US military has halted all military flights in the country due to recent accidents.
According to the BBC report, the US military has decided to temporarily suspend operations of the aircraft “except for critical missions”.
Three US soldiers were killed when two Apache helicopters collided mid-air in Alaska this week. On March 20, 9 soldiers were killed in the Blackhawk helicopter crash.
After these consecutive accidents, yesterday the “decision to suspend air operations” came into effect. US Ground Forces Commander James McConville announced that the aircraft will remain on the ground until the additional training period is complete. Noting that safety and training protocols are being reviewed, McConville expressed deep regret over the military losses.
Now it is planned to give the soldiers new flight training. Soldiers who complete the training will be able to return to normal operations.
