Putin’s inspection order to the army.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to continue inspections of Russian fleets.
According to the Kremlin Palace statement, Putin met with Shoigu at the Kremlin Palace. During the meeting, Shoigu briefed Putin on the inspections that began on April 14 in Russia’s Pacific Fleet, saying, “Within the scope of the inspections, more than 25 thousand soldiers, 167 warships, 12 submarines were deployed , 89 airplanes and helicopters. The units involved in the inspections were put in a state of readiness and began to fulfill their duties in the field of war training,” he said.
Noting that the final stage of the inspections will take place on April 18, Shoigu stated that the fleet units will return to their permanent positions after the inspections.
Russian President Putin, on the other hand, drew attention to the use of Russian forces in the direction of Ukraine, saying:
“However, no one canceled or eliminated the tasks related to the development of the navy, including the Pacific region. Therefore, I ask you to continue the work in this direction and give importance to the development and preparation of similar competitions in other fleets. Some components of the fleet forces can be used in combat in all directions. I want you to pay attention to that.” (BRITISH AUTOMOBILE CLUB)
