By defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 130-117 in the first round of the American Basketball League (NBA) play-offs, the Miami Heat took a 1-0 series lead.
The NBA play-offs continued with 4 games. The Heat, who entered the playoffs from last place in the Eastern Conference, won the series opener against the Bucks, who have the highest regular-season winning percentage.
There were two major injuries during the fight. Bucks star player Giannis Antetokounmpo had to leave the game with a back injury after falling on his back in the first quarter. Tyler Herro, who is the Heat’s No. 3 leading scorer with an average of 20.1 points this season, broke his right hand in the game, which he entered seconds from halftime. Jimmy Butler, who had a double-double with 35 points, 11 assists and 5 rebounds, and Bam Adebayo, who produced 22 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists, led the visitors to the Heat.

In their first-round games in the Western Conference, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies 128-112 on the road, and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns 115-110, making it 1-0 in their series. Rui Hachimura played with 29 points, 6 rebounds, Austin Reaves with 23 points, Anthony Davis with 22 points, 12 rebounds, 7 blocks, 3 steals, and LeBron James with 21 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks for the Lakers.

Completing the game with 18 points, Grizzlies star point guard Ja Morant was unable to continue the fight after falling on his right hand with 6 minutes to go. Kawhi Leonard, who made his first Clippers play-off game in almost 2 years, became the most influential name on the field with 38 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. For the Suns, Kevin Durant had 27 points, 11 assists, 9 rebounds, Devin Booker 26 points, 4 steals, 3 blocks and Torrey Craig 22 points.
