Biden Presidential Election Statement
US President Joe Biden has said he plans to run in the 2024 presidential election.
Biden spoke on NBC News, where he was a guest as part of the White House Easter show. Asked if he will run in the 2024 presidential election, Biden replied: “I plan to run, but we’re not ready to announce it yet.”
Biden has previously stated that he intends to run, but has yet to officially announce his candidacy.
Famed writer Marianne Williamson was the first to officially announce her candidacy for Biden’s Democratic Party. Former US President John F. Kennedy’s nephew, attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is also expected to officially announce his candidacy in the election.
Among the names of the Republican Party who announced their candidacy are former US President Donald Trump, former US permanent representative to the UN Nikki Haley, politician Steve Laffey, young billionaire Vivek Ramaswamy and businessman Perry Johnson. (AA)
