They rescue a group of tourists kidnapped by gangs 4 days ago in Mexico

According to reports in the Mexican press, the security forces, which determined that the kidnapped persons were in the state of San Luis Potosí, carried out a helicopter-assisted operation.

Guanajuato Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez reported that 35 people who were forcibly detained were safely rescued.

In the statement from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP), it was indicated that in addition to the group of tourists, 35 people, including immigrants, are in good health.

It was shared that the security forces found the kidnapped group in 5 of their trucks and that the gang members fled the area shortly before the operation.

The group, which includes immigrants, was kidnapped by armed gangs while traveling in two minibuses in the town of San Felipe Torres, in the state of Guanajuato. (AA)
