Exercise as a menacing message from the USA! 26 countries will participate
Sabrina Singh, Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of Defense (Pentagon), announced at the press conference that the US Land Forces Europe and Africa Command will lead the “Defend Europe 2023” exercise, which will begin on April 22.
Singh noted that this year’s exercise will focus on the strategic deployment of US Space Forces and the interoperability of US forces in the region with other allied and partner countries.
Noting that the US will participate in the exercise with 90,000 soldiers, Singh said that 17,000 soldiers from 26 countries will also participate in the exercise and the diameter of the exercise will be extended to 10 countries.
Singh affirmed that the Pentagon sent 7,000 pieces of equipment for the exercise and that they arrived in Spain.
Deputy spokesman Singh said the US will also participate in the exercise with 13,000 teams stationed in Europe. (AA)
